At least two hours of careful and complete eye examination and testing may reveal treacherous eye defects which would normally go unnoticed but the consequences of which may be serious – for example, development of keratoconus. This type of examination may be used as a pre-surgery examination before refractive surgery. The price of a voucher for a complete eye examination is 1,000 CZK.
Plastic surgery on the eyelid means a solution for problems related to loss of skin elasticity due to age, when the skin of the eyelid begins sagging, which changes the facial expression and -in extreme cases - may reduce the field of vision. The surgery is performed on the upper or the lower eyelids, sometimes both, under local anaesthetic. It takes approximately 60 minutes (depending on the extent of the surgery). The excessive skin is removed and the wound is sutured. The price of a voucher for plastic surgery on the eyelid (upper or lower) is 8,000 CZK.
