My best pastime after work is spending money on clothes, shoes, jewelry and anything feminine but the best money I have ever spent on is my laser surgery at Refracni Centrum in Prague. I remember that I was terrorized about the surgery, I was dreading that anything would go wrong and I would suddenly move or lose my eye flaps but all was perfect.

During the last year we were informing you about the charity event GLASSES FOR NEPAL.
A civic association called NAMASTÉ NEPÁL organized collecting of glasses for inhabitants of Nepal with eye defects, and we participated in this activity, too.
People were asked to bring glasses that they no longer used to our collection boxes, and we handed out the glasses to those in need.

had been thinking about getting laser surgery for my eyes for already long time – perhaps five or six years. I even went to the clinic once to get it done, but then just got “cold feet” and decided to postpone. To be honest, I wasn’t really afraid of anything, but because I only had -1,0 vision I decided not to undergo the laser surgery at that time.

A matter of fact for many people - but a luxury for some others. We are speaking about life without glasses. In a significant part of the population, problems with vision appear early in childhood or at a very young age. This is mainly related to myopia, farsightedness or astigmatism. Normally, these defects are corrected with glasses, contact lenses, and since the 1990s by means of laser refractive surgery as well. Laser eye operations are nothing unusual for today's generation so some people interested in the surgery may be surprised that they are not suitable candidates for this kind of surgery.

During the summer months, Refrakční centrum Praha organized a special charity event. For every patient operated on in July and August, 1,000 CZK was donated to the civil association called Sluneční paprsek, the organizer of holiday stays combined with medical care for children with oncological or other serious diseases and for children growing up in children's homes.
