We eliminate short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism<\/strong> using state-of-the-art laser technology.<\/p>\n

In cases where the vision error is recognised as short-sightedness<\/strong> (myopia) we can remove this error by flattening the cornea in the centre. With short-sightedness the rays of light fall in front of the retina and not on it this making the image out-of-focus. Due to the flattening of the retina, a greater dissipation of light upon entry into the eye is achieved, and thus the incidence of the rays of light is changed from the original position in front of the retina directly onto it. This leads to sharp vision.<\/p>\n

The opposite error, far-sightedness<\/strong> (hyperopia), logically, has the opposite principle. The refractive apparatus of the eye is unable to sufficiently focus rays of light onto the retina and dissipates them beyond the retina. It is therefore necessary to increase the curvature of the cornea so that the rays of light dissipate directly onto the retina. We can achieve this by making the cornea steeper in its central part.<\/p>\n

With astigmatism<\/strong>, the error is corrected by adjusting the asymmetrical curvature of the cornea.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
