Phacoemulsification device White Star Signature

Phacoemulsification device is a basic instrument required for cataract surgeries and refractive intraocular procedures. Using this device, we pulverise the tissue of the intraocular lens and thoroughly cleanse its casing so that a new lens may be implanted. This is how we achieve long-lasting, high quality and stable visions in each patient.

What makes the White Star Signature so unique? It uses a combination of two types of water pump – peristaltic and Venturi. The combination of the two speeds up the extraction of the lens tissue while at the same time maintaining perfect stability of the individual structures of the eye. It is possible to select one of the two separately or the combination of both.

The apex of the ending of the Ellips™ ultrasound device itself performs a unique elliptic vibrating circular motion. The procedure is thus sped up, its effectivity increased, and maximum safety of the surgery is ensured.

Leica surgery microscope

Leica M844 F40 is one of the top-class ophthalmological surgery microscopes and is the optimal solution for surgeries of both, the anterior as well as posterior segment of the eye.

In combination with the APO OptiChrome™ optics and direct halogen lighting, this operating system provides flawless image and high contrast of tissue imaging, all the while using minimal lighting intensity. This is seen as a bonus as patients are not so exposed during the procedure.

Double-ray stereophonic lighting and a large field of vision enable real three-dimensional vision, better stability and flawless image. The result is an increased depth in sharpness of the image as well as extraordinary distinguishing ability and perfect imaging of the different structures of the eye. This facilitates the work of the surgeon enormously and increases the safety of the surgical procedure.
