“I am really happy that I had the courage to undergo laser eye surgery, and I was truly inspired to choose this great clinic in Prague (Refrakční Centrum Praha).
One of my colleagues convinced me to have the surgery – there was a special offer at the time if two friends went together, so we did. 🙂 I was really happy that the staff at the clinic spoke English, as I don’t speak Czech, which can sometimes be a big issue in medical institutions.
The surgery itself was not as difficult as I expected. The preparation takes longer than the surgery itself, and the entire process is not painful at all. On the first evening after the procedure, I experienced some itchiness and discomfort – it felt like having sand in my eyes, and I constantly wanted to scratch them. I was also very sensitive to light. However, by the next day I was already able to work on the computer, and by the third day I was back at work.
I don’t regret taking this opportunity, and I would definitely do it again if needed.”
