My name is Nicholas Pedley and I travelled from the UK to Prague for lense replacement surgery with Dr Novak in late August 2019.
I have worn glasses or contact lenses for the last 35 years and even worn glasses with contact lenses in the last 5 years. I was very short sighted with a prescription of -6.5, had astigmatism and the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes. I was recommended the services of the clinic by a colleague who also had lense replacement surgery. My contact was via e-mail (all in perfect English) and I had to send my prescription then complete a questionnaire. A date was agreed for my surgery.
Whilst in Prague, I had a medical on Tuesday which was arranged as an option by the clinic. I had a full consultation with Dr Novak on Wednesday morning when he fully explained the options available and made his recommendation. Surgery on the first eye was carried out later on Wednesday at a local hospital. Surgery on the second eye was carried out on Friday. The actual surgery takes no more than 15/20 minutes.
The results of the surgery are simply staggering.
I now have sharp, bright vision (I hadn’t even noticed that my vision was getting dull) as well as losing the astigmatism and cataracts. I might only need a light prescription of reading glasses if I have some very small print to read. Reading a book or text message is no problem at all. In the 3 weeks since my surgery, I have had no issues of any kind and I really feel that my quality of life has improved.
The clinic provides a very professional service and Dr Novak is very skilled.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the services of the clinic for lense replacement surgery.
