I have been wearing contact lenses for over 30 years, when one day I met a man during my summer holidays. After a short while he explained that he had just returned from Prague having had eye surgery. In a short while it came to light that my prescription was very like his (+ 6 & + 6.5). I was under the impression that surgery was not an option for me, so straight away I asked for the details of where he had been, this is where my life changed!
As soon as I got back to the U.K. I sent an email of enquiry, I had a very quick response, asking a few details and a form to complete. I dealt with a man called Bjoern, who looks after foreign clients. Three weeks later: I’m having a pint with him in the centre of Prague, ready for surgery a few days later, after a couple of simple examinations.
These guys are simply the best. The operation is absolutely nothing to worry about and completely pain free. On the day of surgery, you walk to the health centre (1 minute from the recommended hotel) where you are looked after by a lovely young lady called Veronika. You’ll have some eye drops put in a few times over an hour or so, then transported to the hospital. The operation takes 5 – 10 minutes, after that you are transported back to your hotel. The following morning: THAT’S IT I CAN SEE, BUT NO LENSES, TOTALLY LIFE CHANGING!! do a lot of physical activity as a job and pastime, and to be able to do this and not worry about lenses is unbelievable. To anyone who is considering this procedure, rest assured this is the way to do it. You will save £1000s, have the best staff and surgeon to look after you and also have a break in the beautiful city of Prague.
